He is one of the most inspiring masters of Meditation and (Kriya) Yoga of the 20 & 21 century.
A lot of people know him through his well-known book “Autobiography of a Yogi” in which he leads through his life, shares hard but mostly special experiences and shows openly that a master also needs courage and confidence in his path, to realize his true self.
In 1920, after his exciting time in India, he came to America to teach the western world the science of Meditation, Kriya Yoga and Self-realization.
He was inspiring thousands of people with his writings as well as lectures witch are easy to understand.
His teachings continue to be passed on by the “Self-Realization Fellowship” placed in Los Angeles, California also known as the “Yogoda Satsanga Society” in India.
Through his special affinity to God and his tangible, loving way of capturing the teachings to people around the world, Paramahansa Yogananda is still one of the most important yogis of all time.
